Pulaski County Court Records Beyond Screen
Online systems mainly expose index and docket facts. Full pleadings, signed orders, and certified copies remain clerk products. How a Criminal Case Moves
A misdemeanor may stay in General District Court unless appealed. A felony starts there for initial proceedings, then can move to Circuit Court after certification and indictment. Circuit terms begin on the second Monday of January, April, July, and October, with grand juries on the first term day. That calendar helps explain a gap between a district hearing and a new Circuit entry.

Pulaski County Specialty Court Dockets
Not every Pulaski County criminal case follows only the standard trial calendar. The Veterans Treatment Docket meets on the first and third Wednesdays. Pulaski Adult Recovery Court was approved in October 2014 and remained listed in Virginia's official 2024 recovery-court reporting. These programs are part of the local justice system, but they do not create a separate public name-search portal.
A participant's public case, when not sealed or otherwise restricted, remains tied to the court file and its docket entries. Program assessments, treatment facts, and supervision notes are not the same as an open court index. Search the underlying Pulaski County case first. Case Record Access & Restrictions
Public access has firm limits. J&DR case information is not placed online because juvenile and family matters are confidential. Sealed files, victim details, confidential identifiers, and protected investigative material may also be withheld or redacted. Virginia FOIA does not override the special rules for court files, controlled CCRE dissemination, or juvenile records.
A court docket is also not a certified statewide history. Virginia Code §19.2-389 limits CCRE dissemination and requires current-disposition checks for reportable criminal history.

Pulaski Juvenile Cases Stay Offline
Pulaski Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court occupies Suite 103 at the same courthouse, but sharing an address does not make its records public. Its criminal day is Wednesday, and video bond hearings are listed each day at 2:55 p.m. Those schedule facts do not open the underlying case data to a general online search.
